Who runs this website

This website is run by Coach Jamie Personal Training, based at Dean Clough, Halifax (HX3). You can email us at danwettonpt@gmail.com. Our current contact details are always on our contact page.

This policy explains what we collect when you use the website, why we collect it, who else handles it and what your rights are.

When you send us a message

If you use the contact form, we collect your name, your email address, your phone number if you give it, and your message. Your message is stored on the website and emailed to us so that we can reply to you. We keep it until we delete it.

When you book a session

If you book a session online, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the session and time you chose, and any notes you add. This is stored on the website and emailed to us so that we can confirm and run your session. We keep it until we delete it.

When you buy a package

If you buy a PT package, we keep your name, email address, any phone number you give, what you bought and the details of the order, so that we can arrange your sessions and keep proper records. Card payments are taken by Stripe, which handles your card details for us. We never see or store your card number.

Who looks after the website

The website is hosted for us in the United Kingdom by British Web Design. They process the information above on our behalf and deliver the website's emails. They do not use it for anything else.

Cookies

The website sets two cookies that every visitor needs: a session cookie, which keeps the site working as you move between pages (including your basket and your booking), and a security cookie, which protects the forms from misuse. They do not track you around the internet.

Our own count of visitors to the website does not use cookies.

If we ever switch on Google Analytics or advertising tags, a banner will ask for your permission first. Nothing of that kind is set until you accept, and your answer is remembered in your browser.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR) you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, and object to us using it. To do any of these, email us at the address above.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.

Staging

This is your staging site — it is not your live website. Changes land here first so you can check them before the public sees them.
